Softlock statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Softlock understands the impacts of the coronavirus novel (COVID-19) on people and businesses around the world. In the interest of our staff, their families, our customers and partners and from our responsibility in combating the spread of COVID-19, Softlock took several steps limit the outbreak by permitting working from home.

At the same time, Softlock is striving to operate in a manner that ensures business continuity. Our technical support will continue to be provided in accordance with the service level agreements (SLA) and upcoming software releases will be delivered as planned.

Although Softlock has allowed its staff to work from their homes, a very limited amount of employees will still work from our offices. Our workforce is capable of working remotely, and many do so as part of the regular day-to-day routine, already. Security routines such as secure access to all IT resources within the business, as well as to the internet itself, are already in place and well incorporated.

Softlock’s emergency plans are activated in this context. We do not foresee any changes as to our operational activities. This means that we do not expect any significant effect in regards to our partners and customers.

Softlock has also adopted new travel restrictions since mid-March for the safety of its employees and clients, consistent with travel guidance by the WHO. Also, we rescheduled face-to-face meetings to video, telephone or web conferences as an alternative.

We realize this situation remains very dynamic. We will continue to provide updates as we learn more. We are confident in our preparation and contingency planning for situations such as this. We remain committed to providing the superior service and support that our customers have come to expect of our company throughout this situation.
